Leadership Associates Response to COVID-19

Leadership Associates’ Statement to Districts, Clients, and Partners in response to current recommendations and restrictions related to the COVID-19 national public health emergency

As California’s Premier Executive Search and Leadership Development firm, we intend to continue delivering high-quality services to school districts during these challenging times. Our highest priority is the health, safety, and protection of our clients and partners. We will provide search and leadership development services in a socially responsible manner consistent with local, state and federal recommendations. We also recognize the need to be flexible in our approach and responsive to the preferences of individual district boards as new information is brought forward.

Leadership Associates has established protocols for delivery of our services which respect and acknowledge the COVID-19 national public health emergency. These protocols cover the increased use of technology to limit group gatherings, minimizing travel, respecting social distancing guidelines, and providing options for the conduct of designated meetings such as stakeholder input and candidate interviews.

Executive Leadership Development Changes

Leadership Associates has, regrettably, determined it necessary to cancel this year’s Summer Institute originally scheduled for June 17-18 in San Diego. We look forward to holding our next Summer Institute in June 2021.

Also note that all remaining sessions of the Superintendent Network, Superintendent Leadership Series (SLS), Assistant Superintendent Leadership Network (ASLN), and Educational Services Leadership Network (ESLN) have been postponed until later in the school year.… read more

Board members who have participated in these workshops report high levels of satisfaction with the collaborative discussions and opportunity to improve the efficacy of board governance in support of student achievement that comes with this respected and effective program..
